Yours is the moment

When light replaces darkness

When black night flees

And bright day follows in her wake

 

The stars have already retired

But you stand there still

Waiting for the sun to rise

 

Lit up by morning’s first rays

Plunging into the ranks of light

Till no one can see you any more
