Around the bed run hungry rats;

In lamplight to and fro fly bats.

On pine-shaded roof the wind and showed rattle;

The window paper scraps are heard to prattle.

I roam from north to south, form place to place,

And come back with grey hair and wrinkled face.

I woke up in thin quilt on autumn night;

The boundless land I dreamed of still remains in sight.
